I spoke with Genice yesterday. She sounds very tired. She said the doctor’s say everything went well. They could not repair her old heart value because it was in worse shape than they anticipated so she received a mechanical one. She is in a great deal of pain where they broke her ribs to do the surgery. She is taking things very slowing. Mentally she is very positive that the Lord is going to restore her health to better than ever. She says to thank everyone for all the prayers and concerns. She misses everyone and is looking forward to getting out and about. She goes back to the hospital some time next week for a check up. Her son Mac had to return to school in Florida yesterday.
Please continue to keep her in your prayers.
